He also discussed his tactical plans. "I want to be very unpredictable and having plans adapted to each of our rivals," the new Brighton boss explained. "We want to be very aggressive, to press high when necessary but also live comfortable in a medium block or some more conservative plans." His immediate task is to integrate the new signings and build a cohesive unit.
The club's current injury situation presents an immediate challenge. Key players Evan Ferguson, Femi Azeez, Jack Hinshelwood, Kaoru Mitoma, Mats Wieffer, and Stefanos Tzimas are all currently sidelined. This list, which includes several important attacking options, is a significant factor in Ruiz's early team selections.
