Brighton Women are building England's first purpose-built women's football stadium. The £75 million to £80 million project is set to open by the 2030/31 WSL season.
The new stadium will be located on Bennett's Field, next to the Amex Stadium, with a minimum capacity of 10,000.
The stadium is designed with a women's football lens, featuring pitch surfaces to prevent injuries and family-friendly amenities.
Brighton Women currently draw 2,000 to 3,000 fans per match. Managing director Zoe Johnson said the stadium will help the team compete consistently in the Women's Super League.
The club plans to shift bigger matchups to the 33,000-capacity Amex, while building long-term fan engagement at the new stadium.
