Why it matters for Brighton & Hove Albion Women

The transfer marks a new chapter in Noordam's career, as she returns to her home country after showing her talents in England's top league.

What comes next?

Ajax will be looking to progress from their second-place finish in the 2025/26 season, with Noordam's signing expected to bolster their midfield. The Amsterdam club finished behind champions PSV by just four points. Noordam has previously won the Eredivise with Ajax and has three KNVB Cups to her name with Ajax and ADO Den Haag respectively. The pacy box-to-box midfielder has never quite made the step up to the senior side for her country but this move could foster that development.
